All our rings can be done from many different materials and we only use nickel free etchically and ecologically sourced metals in our jewelry. We use palladium white gold alloy which do not require rhodium plating as the alloy it self is light color. From Palladium we use palladium alloy 500 which is more durable in everyday use if compared to normally used 950 palladium. Our Platinum is always 950 Platinum. The gorgeous colors of yellow gold and rose gold are also available on our jewelry. we mostly use 14k golds for the engagement rings and wedding bands as it is more durable than softer 18k alloyed golds. Also some of your wedding bands and men's wedding rings are available in titanium.

Differences between 14k and 18k golds
We often get asked about main differences between 14k and 18k golds. 14k gold, in other words 585 gold has 58,5% gold in the alloy. 18k gold or in other words 750 gold has 75% gold in the alloy. The other metals in the alloys are for example palladium, silver or copper. Torkkeli jewellery gold is always nickel free. 14k white gold and yellow gold are a little more hadred than 18k white or yellow gold. The rose gold alloys are the opposite, 18k alloy is harder than 14k rose gold. Why not just use pure gold then? Pure gold is gorgeous but also very soft and gold is not suitable in it's pure form in everyday ring or jewelry use.
Both 18k and 14k golds are great for everyday ring and jewelry use. 18k alloy has a little more pure gold in it so it is also a little more valuable than 14k gold.
