TORKKELI JEWELLERY

In a way the story of Torkkeli Jewellery started a long time before I was even born. In the 1800´ my Great Grandfather Juhana Torkkeli had a small studio in Karelia where he was a greatly appreciated metal smith and the products he made where know from their beautiful finishing touches and great quality.
I always knew that I wanted to work with my hands and started studying to be a jeweler at 1998. After I graduated I had the privilege of working with few of the best jewelers in Finland and gained a lot from those few years from different techniques.

In 2012 Susan started working with me and we started building our fist international online shop. Today jewelry that we make by hand in our Jyväskylä studio is being worn by thousands of people all over the world. Every single jewelry piece we make is made from the scratch with exact unique details that the person who orders it wants.

Jewelry is so much more than just an item that we carry with us a long the way… Jewelry tells the story of Love, Time and… Moment!
